Bexley Theatre Arts
The arts help students cultivate 21st century skills, such as the ability to work in groups, think critically and creatively, and communicate well. In Bexley Schools, professionals with specialist certifications in their fields teach all aspects of visual and performing arts. A Bexley arts education shapes engaged, successful college- and career-ready students.
Auditions are schedules for Bexley's elementary play, featuring students in grades 3 - 5. The dates are:
Monday, February 13 for last names A-LTuesday, February 14 for last names M-Z
Callbacks are on Wednesday, February 15
All will be held in the Cassingham Theater from 5:30 - 7:30pm. Students who cannot attend their scheduled auditions may audition on a different date. Students should plan to stay for the entire length of the audition.
To prepare, learn a short poem, such as one by Shel Silverstein, to recite using voice and body movement to create emotions, character, and excitement. Students auditioning should bring clothes to move in and a pen or pencil. Visit BexleyTheaterArts.com for more information.
